I first ran into For Love and lemons on Instagram - scrolling through the feed, an occasional beautiful girl in something lacy will pop through, and spark a moment of 'I wish I could wear that'. When I went to the website, I found out there's much more than just lace and limbs behind the brand. For Love and Demons, based in L.A, actually make beautiful, feminine clothes. And they sure know how to make a kick-ass campaign.
I know it's winter (in terms of fashion) but I especially loved their summer story, named 'Hot Texas Summer' and shot in vintage, trailer-park settings. I tried to wear my hair like that once - two little braids in the front - but it ended up looking so stupid I had make sure a whole bunch of my New Zealand trip pictures will never see Facebook. The thigh-highs and the flirty dresses I'm still willing to give a second try to.
